Grandimpianti I.L.E. wins his second Red Dot Design Award!

The winning design is intelligent and interactive

The GWH washing machines with Wavy Control of Grandimpianti I.L.E. have been awarded with Red Dot Award – Product Design 2017, one of the most important design prizes in the world. The international jury of experts recognized the value of GWH Wavy’s design choosing it among hundreds of other products submitted by companies from 54 countries.
It’s not the first time that the company has won this prestigious prize; in 2013 GD dryer persuaded the jury and was appreciated for its soft, sinuous lines, the ergonomics, the robustness and the intuitive technology.

“This prize means a lot to us, not only for the prestige, but mostly because it confirms our idea of having created a truly innovative product”, affirms Patrizia Terribile, General Director of Grandimpianti I.L.E.

“A device in which the design is not a simple aesthetic exercise, but rather ergonomics, usability and maximum interaction. Our aim, indeed, is to create products that are in step with times and able to solve the customers daily problems. A concrete example of this is precisely the new Wavy control that, connected to the WavyCloud, allows to manage remotely and with the utmost simplicity the various equipment, adapting itself to the type and level of the operator’s knowledge”, continues Patrizia.

Grandimpianti wants to share this award with all those who, on different levels, have participated in the project because thanks to their contribution it was possible to achieve this important recognition.
